Trek

About the Expedition

Ascend to the clouds on the Agasthyarkoodam trek, a high-altitude journey to the second-highest peak in Kerala ($1,868$ meters). Located within the UNESCO-protected Agasthyamala Biosphere Reserve, this 50 km circuit is a rare blend of physical endurance and spiritual history.

As you traverse the Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary, you’ll walk through "medicinal air" enriched by over 2,000 species of rare herbs. With strictly limited daily permits and a short annual window (January–March), this trek remains one of India’s most exclusive and pristine adventures. From the gruelling "knee-knocking" slopes of Muttidichan Theri to the serene summit shrine of Sage Agastya, every step offers a raw encounter with the untouched Western Ghats.
