Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both the traveler and our local partners who prepare for your arrival.
1. Standard Cancellation Policy
- More than 60 days before departure: 100% of the trip cost is refundable (excluding non-refundable deposits).
- 30 to 60 days before departure: 50% of the trip cost is refundable.
- Less than 30 days before departure: No refund will be provided.
2. Non-Refundable Items
Certain costs, such as flight tickets, permits, and pre-booked accommodation, may be non-refundable according to the provider's policy.
3. Rescheduling
Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional costs. Request for rescheduling must be made at least 45 days before the trip starts.
4. Cancellation by Lost Compass Adventures
In the rare event that we cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, safety concerns), a full refund or an alternative trip of equivalent value will be offered.
5. Refund Processing
Refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days of the cancellation approval.
